What is a Satoshi?
Once you know the Bitcoin world, you face many new words, encryption, cryptography, mining, etc. One of these words is satoshi. What does mean?
Well, Bitcoin was presented through a "paper", as told to the technical presentation of a project, for one (or more) person (s), name Satoshi Nakamoto.
This "paper" explains characteristics of network distributed system, chain blocks, etc. everything related to Bitcoin.
Remember that one of its characteristics is that there will be only 21 units bitcoin million, but that each of them can be divided up to the eighth decimal (0,00000001). It is this minimal expression of the bitcoin which is called satoshi, in honor of whom created the entire system.
Therefore, when you talk about that you get paid 100 satoshis to see an online advertising, it means that they pay you 0,00000100 bitcoin.
